Many years ago I went through a period in my life when I personally experienced panic attacks.I soon realised that nobody who had not themselves had these dreadful experiences could understand the horror of what I was going through. I remember trying to conceal how uncomfortable I was feeling but it was difficult, because at that time I was a manager of a business and when I felt an attack beginning I would hide in my office and lock the door.

As time went on things got even worse so that I dreaded getting up in the morning to go to work, in case I would have an attack. I then met a Clinical Hypnotist who in a couple of sessions helped me recover and now 30 years later I rejoice that I am free from that terrible condition.
